Who We Are
We have been a welcoming Christian community committed to sharing hope, faith, and compassion with all for the last 140 years. Rooted in The Salvation Army’s mission, we exist to share the love of Jesus Christ and serve our community through spiritual care, meaningful relationships, and practical support for those in need.
We are passionate about creating a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can grow in faith, experience belonging, and discover purpose. Through worship, outreach, and community programs, we strive to reflect God’s love in action and walk alongside individuals and families on their spiritual journey.
Join us for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Emergency Disaster Services
The Salvation Army provides a wide range of emergency and disaster relief services, offering practical support when communities need it most. Because every emergency is different, our response is community‑based and tailored to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each situation.
Our emergency services can be activated on short notice through established notification procedures with partner agencies and local authorities. As one of Canada’s major emergency relief organizations, The Salvation Army plays a designated role within coordinated emergency response systems.
The Salvation Army partners with Waterloo Region Emergency Services to provide food, water, and clothing during emergencies. Our mobile canteen delivers hot and cold meals directly to those affected.

Meet Our Captains Cory and Kelly Fifield
Commissioned in 2012, Captains Cory and Kelly Fifield have had the joy of serving alongside their daughters, Sophie and Olivia, in communities across Canada, from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. In 2023, they were appointed to the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Cory and Kelly share a deep passion for serving Jesus and strengthening the community around them. Their leadership is energetic, welcoming, and grounded in faith, with a heart for creating a church home where everyone feels valued, connected, and encouraged to grow.
